2010 REGIONAL TEAM TRYOUTS
also called "JO," "Junior Olympic" or "Travel" teams

EACH PLAYER MUST BRING TO REGIONAL TEAM TRYOUTS:

Parent or legal guardian must accompany each player through each step of the registration process

$40 NON-REFUNDABLE tryout/facility fee (cash or check payable to "City of Greensboro")

CLUB DEPOSIT CHECK (amt. TBD) (payable to "City of Greensoboro")-check will be returned if player is not selected to a team; subsequent payments on balance due in Dec, Jan, Feb

ALL PAPERWORK (filled out)--all paperwork (except Tryout Form) will be given out at the parent informational meetings TBD; parents may obtain and fill out paperwork prior to tryouts
--COPY of BIRTH CERTIFICATE
--Tryout Form (will receive at time of registration ONLY)
--Proof of USAV membership (copy of membership card or membership paperwork)--computers and assistance will be available at tryout, but registering online prior to tryouts is recommended to save time (register at www.carolinaregionvb.org); this membership is necessary to cover each participant with USAV insurance for tryouts
--Sportsplex Team Access form (facility waiver)
--USAV Medical Release form (on Carolina Region website)

*Players are NOT required to come to both night's sessions of tryouts for their age-group; however, they may attend both if they would like. No preference will be given to players who do attend both nights. No additional tryout fee will be charged for players who attend more than one tryout session.
ATTENTION PARENTS:
Prior to the 2010-11 club tryout season,
Sportsplex Volleyball Club will be offering
GENERAL INFORMATION MEETINGS
about club volleyball. These meetings will not be about the Sportsplex but will provide an opportunity for local families to ask questions and get general information about club volleyball. We have found in the past 2 years that many local families are either misinformed or uninformed about what their options/rights are in regards to club volleyball. We want to help families be prepared for tryouts and to make informed decisions that suit their individual needs.
These meetings will be open to all and will be held in the month of October. Specific dates and times will be announced in the fall of 2010.
2010 JUNIOR/SENIOR PROGRAM REGISTRATION

$5 NON-REFUNDABLE facility fee (cash or check payable to "City of Greensboro")

Program deposit check (amt. TBD) (payable to "City of Greensboro")--check will be returned if player chooses not to participate in league at all; final club balance due January 10th

Jr/Sr Program will be held 2 nights per week--Mondays/Wednesdays 5:45 - 7:15 PM beginning December 13 & ending February 16
Following the Jr/Sr Program, we will offer the "Spring Fling" which follows the same format and trains on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning February 28 & ending May 4.
