Our Developmental Volleyball Program at the Greensboro Sportsplex consists of multiple programs and various levels. Please browse our site for these youth opportunities:
- Camps/Clinics
*Variety of camps and clinics offered for multiple age-groups throughout
the summer and over Christmas holidays
*Specialized team camps also available
- Private Lessons
*Available for individuals, groups or teams throughout the year
- Youth Sunday Clinics (ages 8-13)
*Sunday afternoons, August through October
*Register any time beginning in July (call or email Trevor, see below)
*2-hour training sessions
*Players divided based on age and ability
*Average cost: $20-$25/session
- Junior/Senior Program (ages 10-18)
*Mon & Wed nights, December through February, 10 weeks
*Age-group registration/skill-assessment nights at beginning of Dec
*Players divided based on age and ability
*90-minute sessions include training and competitive play
*Average cost: $12.50/session
- Spring Fling (ages 10-18)
*Mon & Wed nights, March through May, 10 weeks
*Age-group registration/skill-assessment nights at beginning of March
*Players divided based on age and ability
*90-minute sessions include training and competitive play
*Average cost: $12.50/session
- Sportsplex Volleyball Club Regional Teams (ages 12-18)
*Age-group tryouts/registration early November
*Teams selected that same week based on skill/position
*Practices begin mid-November and continue through end of season
*Practices Tues and Thurs (12s-15s, 6-8 PM; 16s-18s, 8-10 PM)
*Tournaments every other weekend, January through early April
*Average cost: TBA (lower cost for 2010-11 season)
- Piedmont Volleyball Club National Teams (ages 14-18)
*Age-group tryouts/registration early November
*Teams selected based on nationally-competitive skills/position
*Practices begin late-November and continue through end of season
*Practices: various weekday evenings, Saturdays
*Tournaments various weekends from January through May or June
*Average cost: varies based on season, schedule and number of
participants
